Why a Vision Board Makes You Successful

Vision boards have been proven to work. You can literally put anything on it! This is all about you and your goals/dreams. And those dreams should be your goals. Positive vibes = positive life.  Fill your office or bedroom or living space with loads of positivity! Putting your dreams in front of you and seeing them everyday makes them more reachable. Don’t just look at it, work for it, tell yourself that this is where you want to be, and that is where you will end up.

And you can do this with your friends!!

Pinterest was my go-to for my vision board. I created a special board on Pinterest that way I can keep adding to it. I searched for dream houses, Range Rovers, gorgeous makeup rooms, places I want to travel, money, and what I want my future to look like.

Think of what matters to you. Where do you want to be in the future? What you want in life? Never limit yourself! This is your board for your big dreams and goals. You can do whatever you put your mind to.

Pinterest is the way to go. Print your photos and lay them out however you please. You can add quotes, stickers, glitter, anything!

Time to Craft

  • Scissors
  • Glue or tape
  • Paper/Bristol Board/Tri-fold/Cork board/Presentation board/Cardstock
  • Pens or markers
  • Your photos
  • Other decor

Most of this can be found at the dollar store! or amazon!

Find a board that is big enough for all your photos. I used a Presentation board and put it on the top shelf of my closet so I can look at it every day. But you can obviously use whatever works for you. Vision boards are easy, fun and low-maintenance.

You can cut out your photos in all different ways or make them all the same shape. Cutting them in creative ways will give your board a bit more personality, your personality. I cut all of mine out the same way because I liked a neat look and then laid them in the way I wanted before taping them all down. By adding other decorations adds your personality. These are your hopes and dreams and goals, so show them off.

There it is! Now you can make one or several! Make sure it is placed somewhere you can look at it every day! I had a blast making mine. Sometimes I get in a funk, but when I look at my board I remind myself what I am working for and why I do the things I do. My goals are all attainable and that is what a vision board should be. It is okay to dream big, reach for the stars, you have one life, make it worth wild.

A vision board is a wonderful idea! It’s proven that envisioning your goals and having a tangible method of tracking your goals makes you more likely to achieve them. Great post 🙂

I haven’t actually created a vision board but I think the concept is a great one. My biggest take away with any vision boards or writing something down is follow through. We need to make the commitment to follow through with any or all goals we try and achieve. Giving up is too easy. 🙂

That’s definitely a great idea to visualize what we dream of and to always remind ourselves of our goals. I think I do a similar one but I put it in a frame and hang it on one of my wall. Haha..can say that my wall is my board. 😀
